Michael A. Fluetsch  

Michael’s practice is focused on litigation, concentrating on real estate and business matters.  He has had tremendous success at both the trial and the appellate level.  He has been admitted to practice in all California State Courts, the Federal District Court, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals since 1992. 

Michael received a Bachelors of Science degree in finance and economics in 1989 from the University of Pacific in Stockton, California.  He received his Juris Doctorate in 1992 from the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California. 

He started his own practice in 1996.  He had previously worked for complex litigation boutique firms in Stockton including Freeman & D’Auito (formerly Freeman, Brown, Sperry & D’Auito), and the Law Offices of A. Peter Rausch. 

Michael has volunteered for CASA as a child advocate, the Lawyers for the Arts, and the South County Crisis Center.   

Kristina L. Fluetsch  

Kristina is also a litigation attorney, with an emphasis on the representation of plaintiffs in professional negligence and injury claims.  She has handled medical malpractice, nursing home neglect, dental negligence, dental assault, and general tort claims with superb results. Kristina has also represented plaintiffs in wrongful death claims and wrongful termination.  She has had success in jury and bench trials, as well as the state appellate court.  She has worked with her husband, and partner, Michael Fluetsch since joining his practice in 1999. 

Kristina received her Bachelors of Science degree in political science in 1991 from the California State University at Northridge.  She attended the accelerated S.C.A.L.E. program at Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles, California, earning her Juris Doctorate in two years in 1993.  She received two American Jurisprudence Book Awards in the areas of jurisdiction and business transactions.  She has been admitted to practice in all California State Courts, the Federal District Courts and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals since 1993. 

As an attorney, she worked as a litigation associate for the defense firm of Murphy, Pearson, Bradley & Feeney, and as legal counsel for Condor Insurance Company.  She also worked as a research clerk for McKenna & Cuneo in Los Angeles.  She is a member of the American Bar Association as well as the California Bar Association.

             Teenage Claim

Our firm obtained a judgment of $4,005,981.00 in the wrongful death of a 17-year old high school student who was killed by the reckless driving of another teenager. 

Infant Claim

We obtained a confidential settlement in the case of the wrongful death of an infant killed at an in-home daycare. 

Elder Neglect Claim

Our firm settled a wrongful death claim, on behalf of an elder, who passed away in a skilled nursing facility.  

Construction Personal Injury

We obtained a settlement of $440,000 in a personal injury case involving construction material not properly tied down in a truck. 

Elder Abuse Claim
Our firm has also obtained judgment under the Elder Abuse Law setting aside a real estate deed and for monetary damages against an in-home daycare provider for our elderly client.
